Critical Thinking: The Soul of Communication

 How do you see communication and critical thinking impacting your future role as a leader in the workplace?

Communication enables us to exchange information between one another through writing, speaking or Communication is needed to express their thoughts and ideas. Effective communication in the team will be required to obtain a common purpose/ goal. Communication is needed to understand the members in a team. As a leader, I will need to let team members have a sense of belonging to the group. This is so that they will feel more comfortable expressing their views and thought about an issue which can help to enhance the quality of our work. 

Critical Thinking is the ability to recognize problems and think of possible solutions. As a leader, I should monitor the progress of the project and notify the team when problem arises. It is also about knowing what to do when the problem arises. If I am not able to think critically and find a solution, I will be delaying the progress of the project and team members will question my ability as a leader.

In conclusion, communication and critical thinking plays a big part in my future role as a leader and I feel that these are the two factors that differentiate between a follower and a leader.
